Lisa Miller is a Vice President in the Strategic Communications Division of The Glover Park Group, where she specializes in the development, execution and management of large-scale corporate, consumer and issue-based communication campaigns. She brings great organization and process to her accounts. Lisa has worked with a variety of clients, including Chase Card Services and Freedom to Marry.
Prior to GPG, Lisa spent three years working at Edelman as an integral part of their natural resources team, representing the voices of America’s oil and natural gas industry. Lisa managed influencer outreach and email communications programs for the American Petroleum Institute. While at Edelman, Lisa aided in leading third party and blogger engagement, grassroots and grasstops advocacy and social media management.
Lisa’s dual interest in geology and communications led her to the National Waterways Conference, a small trade association dedicated to the needs of America’s waterways, locks dams and ports. She began her career as NWC’s only employee, acting as the communications assistant, member liaison, event planner and more—a jack-of-all-trades.
Lisa grew up in a small town in North Carolina and attended Washington and Lee University. She received a BA in Geology and Journalism and Mass Communication. Lisa lives with her husband and baby boy Mac in Sixteenth Street Heights.
