Leslie Freeman is a Managing Director at The Glover Park Group, specializing in brand strategy and transformation, leading clients through important moments of change, whether it be positioning, branding and shaping reputation or moving and connecting ideas and audiences and in new ways. She works with a range of GPG’s corporate, non-profit and cultural movement-shaping clients with a focus on strategy, cultural insight and creative campaign development.
Leslie joined GPG from Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where she served as Vice President, Account Director leading strategy and advertising for American Express, MetLife, Gap Inc., Activision and Volkswagen.
Prior, Leslie served at TBWAMedia Arts Lab leading digital advertising for Apple, and helped establish the group as a standalone global agency to service Apple as its singular client. Her work included the “Get a Mac” campaign, one of the most recognized case studies in advertising; her contribution was recognized with the Grand Effie award.
Leslie spent several years working at DigitasLBi in New York, leading large-scale projects for clients such as Bristol–Myers Squibb, Motorola and others. She worked at Forrester Research conducting research and consulting on the intersection of the then-nascent technology and marketing. Leslie started her career in publishing in editorial at Random House and Rolling Stone Magazine.
Leslie is a graduate of Swarthmore College. She is a New England native and resides in Boulder, CO.
