Brian Gluckman is a Vice President at The Glover Park Group, serving dual roles in the Interactive Strategy & Execution and Energy & Sustainability practices. In the Interactive practice, Brian works to develop social media and mobile engagement strategies for clients. Brian also works with clients in the transportation and infrastructure space, focusing on smart growth and the increasing demand for alt-fuel vehicles such as hybrids, pure EVs, and hydrogen-power.
In his previous position as the Director of Strategy for New Media Strategies, Brian worked with such clients as Chrysler and AutoWeek to determine how they should best integrate social media holistically into their existing branding and marketing programs. His efforts helped these brands reach hundreds of key influencers and millions of consumers to improve brand sentiment, leading to improved sales of products and ideas.
Before joining New Media Strategies, Brian worked at AutoTrader.com managing automotive media outreach, as well as creating and implementing the company’s social media program. Prior to that, he worked for the noted automotive public relations firm Brandware, handling media outreach and social strategy for brands including XM Satellite Radio, Consumer Reports, Vespa and Lotus Cars.
Brian has a BS from University of Maryland, College Park. A native Washingtonian, Brian has a passion for branding, communications strategy and digital public relations, and it was this passion that led to his being recognized on PR Week’s “40 Under 40” list in 2009.
