Leading strategic communications and government affairs firm The Glover Park Group (GPG) today announced that Graeme Trayner has joined the firm as a Managing Director. Working across GPG’s research, creative, and communications teams, Trayner will use insight to guide and execute integrated campaigns. Trayner comes to GPG with decades of experience spanning public affairs, branding and consumer insight, most recently serving as a Vice President at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research, where he led the firm’s private sector practice.
Trayner has advised companies and industry associations on strategic communications and cross-border issue management, and worked across sectors including financial and professional services, infrastructure, media and technology, and healthcare. Prior to joining Greenberg Quinlan Rosner, Trayner was a partner in Brunswick’s London office.
“We are thrilled that Graeme has joined GPG. One of our founding principles as a firm was that our advice should be based in research and its results measurable, and in our relatively short-life as a firm the tools to do that have evolved rapidly,” said GPG Founder and Managing Director Carter Eskew. “Graeme will be a leader in our constant re-invention of our ability to provide insights and data to help our clients and will be a trusted advisor internally and externally.”
A native of the United Kingdom, Trayner graduated from the London School of Economics. He started his career in Washington, D.C. working for political strategist Stan Greenberg. Later, Graeme worked as a senior aide to Prime Minister Tony Blair’s pollster Philip Gould and Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s pollster Deborah Mattinson. Trayner writes and speaks frequently on the use of insight in branding, advertising, and communications.
