The Glover Park Group is seeking an experienced digital strategist who will be responsible for developing and managing advocacy, reputation, and brand campaigns across native, premium, and social media platforms. This person will develop creative strategies rooted in insights and focused on delivering measurable results. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can work across our research, insights, creative, editorial, production, media planning, and analytics teams.

The Digital Strategist must also have a knack for client relationship management, including the ability to guide clients through the ever-evolving social media landscape. The ideal candidate has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a fearlessness to dive in and learn new skills and new subjects.


Responsibilities

  • Develop digital strategies to advance client goals, while providing guidance and leadership, educating and steering clients through the evolving digital media communications landscape
  • Lead comprehensive digital strategy and planning for key clients, supervising coordination of internal and external resources to manage execution and analysis
  • Manage integrated digital marketing campaigns 
  • Participate in content production from analytics to execution to ensure it is “on strategy”
  • Craft and present RFP responses, strategy documents, and POVs 

  • Work with Research and Analytics teams to develop insights to guide strategies; recommend tactical changes to maximize campaign performance 

  • Manage and train junior staff to develop core competencies 


Qualifications

  • A proven creative and strategic thinker
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills 

  • Strong understanding of interactive research tools
  • Knowledge of all aspects of Digital Media, including Search, SEO, SMM, Mobile etc. 

  • Experience in integrated marketing and advertising, as well as an understanding of creative development process and budget requirements 

  • Deep knowledge of advertising and marketing concepts and technologies
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong cross-functional project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 

  • 7+ years related experience, fewer for the right person 
  • Experience with social media advertising
  • Top-notch writing and presentation skills a plus
