The Glover Park Group (GPG), a leading public affairs consulting firm, is seeking an organized and detail-oriented junior professional to join the firm’s Research practice.  This position is based in our Washington, DC office.


Responsibilities

  • Learn to develop and implement all aspects of qualitative and quantitative research plans including administration of research methods
  • Meet aggressive deadlines without sacrificing product quality, while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work across practice groups and develop relationships with senior staff, peers, and other members of the Research practice
  • Liaison between the Research practice and GPG’s Finance and Contracts team to coordinate monthly budget/forecasting and vendor and client contracts
  • Assist client teams in preparation for meetings/pitches
  • Administrative support for client teams and senior staff, including scheduling, preparing and submitting expense reports, booking travel, and filtering internal and external requests

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Previous intern experience or exposure to communications and/or public opinion research and polling field is desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong writing and research skills
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint
  • Ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments and deadlines and apply appropriate judgment
